    • You may start seeing results within 3 to 5 days after treatment, with full effects appearing within 2 weeks.

    • Neurological Disorders: Individuals with neurological conditions such as myasthenia gravis

    • Allergic Reactions: People who are allergic to botulinum toxin or any of the ingredients in the Botox formulation should not undergo treatment.

    • Avoid touching or massaging the treated areas: Refrain from rubbing, waxing, massaging, or pressing on the treated areas for at least 24 hours to ensure the Botox stays in the desired location.

    •  Avoid vigorous physical activity for 24 hours post-treatment to minimize the risk of bruising and to allow the Botox to settle properly.

B-12 Injections:

  • What is a B-12 injection?

    • A B-12 injection is a shot of vitamin B-12, an essential nutrient that supports energy production, brain function, and red blood cell formation. It’s commonly used to boost energy and combat fatigue.

  • Who should consider getting a B-12 injection?

    • B-12 injections are generally safe with minimal side effects. Some people may experience slight redness or swelling at the injection site, but serious side effects are rare.

  • How soon will I feel the effects of a B-12 injection?

    • Many people report feeling more energetic within 24 to 48 hours after a B-12 injection. However, full benefits may take a few days to a week to become noticeable.

Dermaplaning:

  • What is dermaplaning?

    • Dermaplaning is a non-invasive exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and peach fuzz from your face using a surgical-grade scalpel. It leaves your skin feeling smoother and looking more radiant.

  • How long do the results of dermaplaning last?

    • The results generally last about 3 to 4 weeks, as the skin will naturally regenerate and dead skin cells will build up again over time.

  • What are the contraindications?

    • Active Acne: Dermaplaning should be avoided if you have inflamed or cystic acne, as it can irritate the skin and worsen breakouts.

    • Skin Conditions or Infections

    • Sensitive or sunburned skin

    • Recent Chemical Peels or Laser Treatments

    • Certain Medications: Some medications that thin the skin, such as retinoids (e.g., tretinoin), should be stopped 5-7 days before dermaplaning to prevent irritation or damage.

  • Post Dermaplane:

    • Do not wear makeup until the following day if possible, refrain from Retinol/ exfoliating products for 7 days, and stay away from heat (hot showers, saunas, and intense exercise causing sweating)

Chemical Peels:

  • What is a chemical peel?

    • A chemical peel is a treatment that exfoliates the skin using a specially formulated solution to remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin looking smoother and brighter.

  • What skin concerns can a chemical peel treat?

    • Chemical peels are effective for treating acne, hyperpigmentation, fine lines, sun damage, and improving overall skin texture.

  • What product is used for the chemical peel?

    • We use the VI Peel, a professional, medical-grade peel known for its ability to improve skin tone, texture, and clarity with minimal downtime.

  • Is the procedure painful?

    • The treatment is generally comfortable, with a mild tingling or warmth sensation during the procedure. Redness may occur afterward but usually fades within a few hours.

  • How long does it take to recover from a chemical peel?

    • A few days to a week.

  • How often should I get a chemical peel?

    • For optimal results, we recommend receiving a chemical peel every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on your skin concerns and the strength of the peel.

  • What are the contraindications for a peel?

    • Pregnancy and Breastfeeding, Active Skin Conditions or Infections, Use of Certain Medications (e.g., Isotretinoin): If you’ve been using isotretinoin (Accutane) within the last 6-12 months, you should avoid the VI Peel. This medication thins the skin, and chemical peels can cause irritation or scarring.

    • Sunburned or Irritated Skin

    • Allergy to Ingredients: If you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients in the VI Peel, such as salicylic acid or other acids used in the peel, you should not undergo the treatment.

    • Broken skin, cuts, or abrasions in the area to be treated, it’s best to wait until it heals to avoid irritation or infection.

  • Post-Peel Instructions :

    • Avoid touching or picking at your skin

    • Avoid sun exposure: Stay out of the sun for at least 7 days after your peel. If you must go outside, apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher to protect your skin. Sun exposure can cause hyperpigmentation and delay healing.

    • Hydrate your skin: Keep your skin moisturized with a gentle, hydrating moisturizer (will be provided).

    • Expect peeling: Peeling typically begins 2-3 days after the treatment and can last 4-7 days. Do not force the skin to peel, as this can cause irritation or scarring. Let the skin naturally shed.

    • Avoid hot water and steam: For at least 48 hours after the peel, avoid hot showers, saunas, and any activities that may cause sweating.

    • To prevent over-exfoliation, refrain from other facial treatments, such as facials, microdermabrasion, or chemical peels, for at least 7-10 days after the VI Peel.

    • Use a gentle cleanser and avoid exfoliating products for at least 7 days
